Background and Career

Yousef Yu was born in Amman, Jordan, in 2007. He is of Chinese nationality and comes from a multicultural background; his father is Chinese and his mother is Arab. He completed his schooling at Oxford School and the Professional School and became fluent in Arabic at a young age.

From a young age, he trained as a housekeeper in a camp in Wadi Rum, as well as a waiter and a tour guide for Chinese tourists in Jordan.

His Chinese–Arab Muslim identity plays a significant role in shaping his perspective and online presence, allowing him to present content that bridges Chinese and Arab cultures.

His History

In 2020, he created a YouTube channel focused on simplifying foreign content in the field of game development. He would summarize and simplify foreign content into Arabic, all without powerful equipment, a filming location, or any sponsors. It achieved great success, though it was later hacked by envious individuals.

In 2023, he didn't give up. He recreated a YouTube channel showcasing his talent in graphic design, offering free tutorials in this field. This channel achieved significant success, reaching over a thousand students and followers, and impacting the Arab community. It continues to thrive to this day.

In 2024, he launched a charitable project to help designers, creating a website called PicaHub. It was a successful project, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from the Middle East and achieving over a thousand downloads, ranking first in Google search results. However, due to an infrastructure error, the site was shut down.

In 2025, he began creating personal content about China and its culture. Within a month, and then within a month and a half, he achieved a record-breaking 100,000 views across all social media platforms.
